Day 1:

Rach Gia to Can Tho (115 KM)

We’ll pick you up in Rach Gia – if you take an early boat your rider will be waiting for you when you arrive in the harbor.

Along the way to Can Tho we have many stops. In Can Tho you have some time for yourself. Have a traditional Vietnamese slow coffee or take a walk along the boulevard while watching the sun sink into the water. In the evening we eat hot pot together, the Vietnamese version of fondue.

Day 2

Can Tho to Tra Vinh (100 KM)

Early in the morning, we visit the floating market of Cai Rang, the largest floating market in South Vietnam, and a rice noodle factory.

Afterwards we have breakfast at the hotel and continue our way to Tra Vinh. In Tra Vinh we visit some of the most beautiful Buddhist temples of South Vietnam.

Day 3

Tra Vinh to Ben Tre (80 KM)

Visiting various fruit and fish farms along the way we drive from Tra Vinh to Ben Tre. After arriving at the homestay in Ben Tre, we get on a traditional fishing boat to catch some fish for dinner. In the evening we cook and eat together with the host family.

Day 4

Ben Tre to Ho Chi Minh City (140 KM)

After breakfast, we explore Ben Tre by bicycle, so you can see how the locals work and live. You can learn how to make a coconut mat, cut your own coconut candy or taste one of the many Mekong fruits.

We ride to Ho Chi Minh City using quiet shortcuts, avoiding the traffic on the freeway. On the way we stop at the Cu Chi tunnels, an impressive tunnel network that was used by the Vietcong during the Vietnam War, to outwit the American soldiers.
